  Funny Kingdom Hall Scandals

  in one hall i was in, we had sister self-righteous.

  you know the type, always pointed out how spiritual she is and how much she does for jehovah.

  anyway, one time she invited me and my two kids over to swim in her pool on a hot day and i told her i could come but that i had my nephew up from ct for a visit and asked if i could bring him.

  Four years late. Just watched Passions of the Christ. I have a question

  as you know this movie was banned for jws.

  any faithful witness would not watched a non-jw bible movie (even though they do it all the time but that's a different subject.

  ) i watched it this pass week over a couple of days.

  what jw beliefs did you make up for your own sanity?.

  for me it was regarding the flood.

  instead of believing that god had destroyed millions of people, i imagined that because of all the violence, by the time the flood came, the only people besides noah and his family that were still alive were the nephilim.

  I saw alot of dirty dealings from the elders when i served, 2 elders were stealing, and i caught them, did not have 2 witnesses, ones son was also stealing and went to jail, ones son as openly gay at bethel, and one they all covered for each other, i saw this as proof ot was not gods organization, and i at the time said , it just needed cleaning, i caught an ms fondling the sisters as they walked by his chair, 6 sisters came to me and complained, his father was an elder and in a jc meeting , his dad told all of the sisters they were making it up.

  that and many other beliefs, like we are the only ones who are right, all hail us type thing, and the non love among the co and do's that i experienced, and the changing of date lines, i stayed because of my parents, as long as i could.

  Took the boys to see it legend, i though it ws a little blah too, and it could have been much better than it was, although the twins thought it ws great, but they are 8!!
